Ingredients
- 1kg lean beef mince (5% fat)
- 150g pepperoni, roughly chopped
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp concentrated tomato paste
- 15g flat leaf parsley, roughly chopped
- salt and cracked black pepper
- 6 wraps of choice
- 250g low-fat mozzarella cheese, grated
- spray oil
- sauce of choice
Method
- Preheat oven and prepare a baking tray with spray oil.
- In a pan, cook lean beef mince until browned.
- Add pepperoni, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and dried oregano to the beef and cook briefly.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, concentrated tomato paste, and parsley.
- Season with salt and cracked black pepper and simmer until thickened.
- Lay out wraps and spread sauce of choice on each.
- Add the meat mixture and sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on top.
- Roll up the wraps tightly and place on the baking tray.
- Bake in the oven until wraps are golden and cheese is melted.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving or freezing for meal prep.
