- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
Method
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Boil butter and water, add to dry mix.
- Add buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla, mix well.
- Pour into greased pan.
- Bake 30-35 minutes.
