Whole recipe (4 servings): 2440 kcal

  • 1 pound of ground beef chuck
  • 1 small Roma tomato
  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 slices of American cheese, or any cheese
  • Ketchup
  • Potato hamburger buns
  • Olive oil

Method

11 steps
  1. Mix 1 pound of ground beef chuck.
  2. Shred 2 tablespoons of frozen butter and mix with ground beef.
  3. Form 2 quarter pound patties.
  4. Quarter iceberg lettuce, remove core and thinly slice small section and rinse.
  5. Generously salt and pepper patties, both sides.
  6. Oil and butter cast iron pan on high heat, toast buns.
  7. Grill burgers on one side and flip.
  8. Add sliced cheese.
  9. Use melting dome to melt cheese.
  10. Remove cheeseburgers from pan and let rest on cooling rack.
  11. Assemble burger with lettuce, tomato, patties, cheese, and buns.
