9 ingredients- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- Cooking oil, as needed

Method
9 steps- Beat the eggs in a bowl.
- Add some oil to a hot pan over medium high heat.
- Stir fry the beaten eggs until mostly cooked.
- Add the cooked rice to the pan and break up large clumps as it heats up.
- Stir fry and break up the rice until no large clumps remain.
- Add the minced garlic to the rice and stir fry for about 1 minute.
- Add salt and ketchup to the rice and continue stir frying until the rice color looks even.
- Add the frozen green peas and stir fry until the peas are cooked.
- Add chopped green onion and crushed black pepper, then give the rice a quick toss to mix everything.
Helpful tips
- Use freshly cooked or leftover rice for best results.
- Stir fry the rice until no large clumps remain for a better texture.
- Add garlic and ketchup at the right stage for even flavor distribution.
