  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking oil, as needed

Method

9 steps
  1. Beat the eggs in a bowl.
  2. Add some oil to a hot pan over medium high heat.
  3. Stir fry the beaten eggs until mostly cooked.
  4. Add the cooked rice to the pan and break up large clumps as it heats up.
  5. Stir fry and break up the rice until no large clumps remain.
  6. Add the minced garlic to the rice and stir fry for about 1 minute.
  7. Add salt and ketchup to the rice and continue stir frying until the rice color looks even.
  8. Add the frozen green peas and stir fry until the peas are cooked.
  9. Add chopped green onion and crushed black pepper, then give the rice a quick toss to mix everything.

  • Stir fry the rice until no large clumps remain for a better texture.
