Whole recipe (4 servings): 1000 kcal
- 3 eggs
- pinch of salt
- 50 g sugar
- 20 ml vegetable oil
- 80 g flour
- 150 g canned peaches
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 30 g cornstarch
- juice of 1 lemon (about 20 ml)
- 50 g condensed milk
- 100 ml whipping cream
Method
10 steps- Preheat the oven to 180 °C / 356 °F. Bake the dessert for 25-30 minutes until set and golden.
- Drain the juice from the canned peaches and chop the peaches finely. Mix the chopped peaches until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, beat 2 egg yolks with 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar until well combined.
- Add 30 g cornstarch to the egg yolk mixture and stir until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Add the juice of 1 lemon (20 ml) to the mixture and stir well.
- Mix in 50 g condensed milk and beat until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened.
- In a separate bowl, whip 100 ml of cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the peach mixture until well combined.
- Decorate the top with additional whipped cream and sprinkle with crushed cookies or crumbs if desired.
- Chill the dessert for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
