Ingredients
- 1 pack plain agar-agar
- 800 ml coconut milk
- 7 tablespoons granulated sugar
- to taste salt
- 2 eggs
- to taste vanilla
- to taste pandan paste
- to taste green food coloring
- 1 pack plain agar-agar (for butter pudding)
- 800 ml liquid milk
- 7 tablespoons granulated sugar
- to taste salt
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 100 g butter
Method
- Mix agar-agar, sugar, a pinch of salt, vanilla, and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually add coconut milk while stirring until well mixed.
- Add pandan paste and stir well. Heat over medium, stirring occasionally.
- Once it starts to bubble, remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Pour half of the mixture into a mold and let it set.
- For the second layer, mix agar-agar, sugar, salt, cornstarch, and milk in a pot.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until hot but not boiling.
- Add butter and stir until melted and fully combined.
- Once the first layer has set, pour the second layer on top and let set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
