- 110 g Butter
- 190 g Peanut Butter
- 100 g white Sugar
- 60 g brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 160 g Flour
- 0.5 tsp Baking Powder
- 0.5 tsp Baking Soda
- 24 Candies
- about 150 g dark Chocolate Coating
- white Fondant
- black Fondant
Method
12 steps- Mix butter, peanut butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Add egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda, then knead into the dough until dry.
- Take about one tablespoon of dough, form small balls, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, about 12 balls per sheet.
- Bake at 180°C convection for 10 minutes.
- Remove cookies from the oven, press small indentations into the still warm cookies, and place candies into the indentations.
- Bake the cookies for an additional 7 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool until still warm.
- Melt chocolate and fill into a small piping bag, cut small holes, and draw fine lines for the spider legs.
- Shape small balls from white fondant for the eyes, and even smaller dark fondant balls for the pupils.
- Glue the eyes onto the cookies with melted chocolate.
- Finish the spider legs and eyes with dark chocolate and fondant.
