- 115 g unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 70 g strawberry jam
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 200 g strawberries, finely diced
- 7 strawberries, halved for decoration

Make strawberry jam by cooking strawberries, sugar, and water until thickened.

Prepare chocolate cake layers by mixing flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, melted butter, oil, sugars, eggs, and milk.

Bake the cake layers until done and let cool.

Make strawberry cream cheese frosting by beating cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, strawberry jam, and vanilla extract.

Fold finely diced strawberries into the frosting.

Assemble the cake by layering cake and strawberry jam, then frost with strawberry cream cheese frosting.
