- 60g almonds
- 600g water
- 100g dates (or preferred sweetener)
- 2 tsp matcha powder
- 10g agar-agar (ougyōchi)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Method
- Soak the raw almonds overnight.
- Drain the almonds, rinse, and blend with dates and water.
- Strain the liquid using a mesh bag.
- Add matcha and agar-agar to the almond milk and blend.
- Massage the seeds and knead until the mixture becomes thick.
- Let sit for 30 minutes.
