Ingredients
- 200 g spaghetti
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 100 g sliced bacon
- 250 g mushrooms
- Salt & black pepper
- 400 ml heavy cream
- 100 g Gouda cheese (grated)
Method
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
- In a large pan, cook the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bacon and cook until crispy.
- Stir in the mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Reduce the heat and add the heavy cream, cooking until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the grated Gouda cheese until melted and combined.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan and toss to combine.
