Ingredients
- 2 lb (900 g) chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose seasoning
- ¾ cup (95 g) cornstarch
- Cooking oil spray, as needed
- ½ cup Buffalo wing sauce
Method
- Pat the chicken wings thoroughly dry with paper towels.
- Combine the all-purpose seasoning and cornstarch, then toss the wings in the mixture until evenly coated.
- Lightly spray the air-fryer drip pan or basket with nonstick cooking spray.
- Arrange the wings on the air-fryer racks in a single layer without overlapping.
- Air fry at 380°F (195°C) for 5 minutes.
- Lightly spray the wings with cooking oil and continue cooking.
- After 10 minutes of total cooking, flip the wings, rotate the racks if applicable and spray the wings lightly with oil again.
- Cook for approximately 10 more minutes, until crisp and safely cooked through. Check that the internal temperature has reached at least 165°F (74°C).
- Rest the wings for a few minutes, then toss them with Buffalo wing sauce and serve.
