- 70g powdered sugar
- 200ml cream 33%
- vanilla extract to taste
- 1-2 bananas (for the cream)
- 300g sugar (for caramel)
- 100ml water (for caramel)
- 150ml cream 33% (for caramel)
- 50g butter (for caramel)
- 1 banana (for decoration)
- 50g pecans
Method
- Mix sugar, butter, eggs, salt, milk, flour, cocoa, and baking powder into a chocolate sponge batter.
- Bake the batter and then soak it with 100ml milk.
- Heat sugar and water for the caramel until golden brown.
- Add cream and butter to the caramel and stir.
- Whip mascarpone, powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla extract into a fluffy cream.
- Slice bananas and fold them into the cream.
- Spread the soaked sponge with the banana mascarpone cream.
- Coat the cake with caramel sauce.
- Decorate with banana slices and pecans.
