- 60 g cornstarch
- 700 g puff pastry
- 250 g cream cheese
- 40 g powdered sugar
- 200 g cream 33%
- 150 g raspberries for decoration
Method
- Heat milk with lemon zest.
- Mix eggs, vanilla sugar, sugar, and cornstarch.
- Slowly stir hot milk into the egg mixture.
- Return everything to the pot and thicken while stirring.
- Let vanilla cream cool down.
- Roll out puff pastry and bake in desired shape.
- Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and cream until creamy.
- Fold cooled vanilla cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Fill the cake with the cream and smooth it out.
- Decorate with fresh raspberries.
- Chill the cake before serving.
