- 1 lb fresh green beans
- 5 medium potatoes white or yellow
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 150 g bacon
- 1-1 oz packet ranch seasoning
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp All-Purpose Chicken Seasoning
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- finely chopped garlic
Method
- Cut the tips off the green beans using kitchen shears or a knife.
- Chop the potatoes into similar-sized pieces.
- Fry bacon until crispy, then remove from pan and set aside.
- Add chopped onions to the bacon drippings and cook until translucent.
- Add chopped garlic to the onions and cook until fragrant.
- Add diced potatoes to the pan and cook with onions and garlic.
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and chicken seasoning over the potatoes.
- Add green beans to the pan and pour in chicken broth.
- Lower the heat to simmer, cover, and cook for about 20-30 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Chop the cooked bacon and add to the dish, mixing well.
- Optionally, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
