  • 1 lb fresh green beans
  • 5 medium potatoes white or yellow
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 150 g bacon
  • 1-1 oz packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp All-Purpose Chicken Seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • finely chopped garlic

Method

11 steps
  1. Cut the tips off the green beans using kitchen shears or a knife.
  2. Chop the potatoes into similar-sized pieces.
  3. Fry bacon until crispy, then remove from pan and set aside.
  4. Add chopped onions to the bacon drippings and cook until translucent.
  5. Add chopped garlic to the onions and cook until fragrant.
  6. Add diced potatoes to the pan and cook with onions and garlic.
  7. Sprinkle ranch seasoning, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and chicken seasoning over the potatoes.
  8. Add green beans to the pan and pour in chicken broth.
  9. Lower the heat to simmer, cover, and cook for about 20-30 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  10. Chop the cooked bacon and add to the dish, mixing well.
  11. Optionally, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
