Crescent Roll Cream Cheese Danish

Ingredients

• 1 can crescent rolls
• ½ cup whipped cream cheese
• 1 egg yolk
• 2 Tbsp sugar
• ½ tsp lemon juice
• ¼ tsp vanilla extract
• ½ Tbsp orange marmalade per danish
• ¼ cup powdered sugar
• 2 tsp milk

Method

1. Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them out on a baking sheet.
2. Mix whipped cream cheese, egg yolk, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll dough.
4. Add a teaspoon of orange marmalade on top of each filled crescent.
5. Roll up the crescent dough to enclose the filling.
6. Brush the tops with egg white for an egg wash.
7. Bake according to crescent roll package instructions until golden brown.
8. Mix powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze.
9. Drizzle the glaze over the baked Danish before serving.
