- 200g all-purpose flour
- 150g cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- 400 ml water
- Butter (for greasing)
- 300g pistachios
- 50g milk powder
- 30g powdered sugar
- 50 ml neutral oil
- 200g sesame seeds
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 25 ml oil
- 400g pistachio butter
- 200g kataifi
- 4 tbsp tahini
- 300g milk chocolate
- White chocolate (amount not specified)
Method
- Prepare the kataifi by mixing flour, cornstarch, salt, oil, and water to make the dough.
- Cook or bake the kataifi until crispy and set aside.
- Make pistachio butter by blending pistachios with milk powder, powdered sugar, and neutral oil.
- Prepare tahini by blending sesame seeds with salt and oil.
- Assemble the kunafa filling by combining pistachio butter, kataifi, and tahini.
- Temper the chocolate (milk and white) for coating.
- Layer the kunafa filling inside a mold or on a surface, then cover with tempered chocolate to form a bar.
- Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving.
