- Tomato sauce
- Cream
- Cold butter (2 tablespoons)
- Cilantro
Method
- Wash and prepare rice if serving with the dish.
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Slice onion and garlic.
- Heat ghee in a deep pan.
- Add chicken to the pan and sear until browned.
- Add sliced onion and garlic, then season with salt.
- Cook until onions soften and chicken is cooked through.
- Add spices: Cashmir chili, turmeric, cumin, garam masala, and ginger.
- Add tomato sauce and blend if necessary.
- Simmer the sauce for about 5-10 minutes.
- Stir in cream and cold butter, letting it emulsify to create a rich sauce.
- Cook for a few more minutes until thickened and flavorful.
- Garnish with cilantro before serving.
