- 0.6 cups warm water
- 0.6 cups warm milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon dry yeast
- 30 ml vegetable oil
- 3.6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 50 g raisins
- 1 egg yolk egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon milk
Method
- Mix warm water, warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl.
- Cover the mixture with a kitchen towel and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, gently stir in vegetable oil.
- Sift the flour and salt into the mixture and knead with a spatula.
- Add raisins and mix the dough thoroughly.
- Knead with hands to form a ball and place it in a greased bowl.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- After rising, divide the dough into 4 pieces and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Grease a baking pan with butter.
- Roll out each dough ball into a log and place in the baking dish.
- Cover and let rest in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.
- Mix egg yolk and milk; brush the mixture on the dough.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 30-35 minutes.
