Ingredients

  • 0.6 cups warm water
  • 0.6 cups warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 30 ml vegetable oil
  • 3.6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 50 g raisins
  • 1 egg yolk egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Method

    Mix warm water, warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl.

    Cover the mixture with a kitchen towel and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.

    After 15 minutes, gently stir in vegetable oil.

    Sift the flour and salt into the mixture and knead with a spatula.

    Add raisins and mix the dough thoroughly.

    Knead with hands to form a ball and place it in a greased bowl.

    Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

    After rising, divide the dough into 4 pieces and let rest for 10 minutes.

    Grease a baking pan with butter.

    Roll out each dough ball into a log and place in the baking dish.

    Cover and let rest in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.

    Mix egg yolk and milk; brush the mixture on the dough.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 30-35 minutes.
