- 700 g chicken breasts
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups milk
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp chili powder
- 3 cups flour (for coating)
- ½ cup cornstarch (for coating)
- 1 cup cold water (for coating)
- as needed oil (for frying)
Method
- Marinate the chicken breasts in a mixture of egg, milk, and spices for 10 minutes.
- Mix the flour, cornstarch, and spices in a bowl.
- Dip the marinated chicken in the coating mix and ensure it's evenly covered.
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Fry the chicken strips in the hot oil for about 10 minutes, starting and ending on high heat while reducing heat in the middle for even cooking.
- Remove and drain excess oil before serving.
