- 200 g flour
- 100 g butter
- 40 g sour cream
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/3 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 egg whites
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 10 g lemon sugar or 1 tsp lemon juice
- 15 g cornstarch
- 50 g prunes
- 40 g cranberries
Method
- Process flour, salt, baking powder, and butter into crumbs.
- Mix sour cream with egg yolks.
- Combine dry and wet ingredients to form a dough.
- Divide the dough into 26-28 g pieces and roll into balls.
- Chill the dough balls for 30 minutes.
- Finely chop the prunes and cranberries.
- Whisk egg whites with salt and lemon sugar until frothy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until stiff.
- Gently fold in cornstarch and dried fruits.
- Fill a piping bag with the meringue.
- Roll out 3 dough balls thinly, trim the edges and make cuts.
- Pipe meringue with dried fruits into the center.
- Fold the dough sheets together.
- Bake at 200 °C for 10-12 minutes.
- Dust cooled cookies with powdered sugar.
