One-Dough Butter Cookie Assortment

Ingredients

• 120 g butter, softened
• 80 g icing sugar
• 1 pinch salt
• 8 g vanilla sugar
• 1 egg
• 350 g plain flour
• 1 g baking powder

Method

1. Beat the softened butter, icing sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.
2. Add the egg and mix until smooth.
3. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
4. Add the dry ingredients gradually to the butter mixture.
5. Mix until a soft, smooth cookie dough forms.
6. Wrap the dough and freeze for 10 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
8. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
9. Divide the chilled dough into approximately 24 portions.
10. Shape the portions into four different cookie designs.
11. Arrange the cookies on the prepared tray.
12. Bake for approximately 10 minutes, until the edges are just lightly golden.
13. Leave on the tray for 5 minutes.
14. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
