- 3.5 oz unsalted butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 12 large fresh sage leaves, chopped
- 0.5 oz fresh parsley, chopped
- 220 g fresh white bread, crust removed, processed into coarse crumbs
Method
6 steps- Melt 100 g unsalted butter in a large pan over high heat.
- Add chopped onion, 1 tsp sea salt, and 1 tsp ground black pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, for 5 to 6 minutes until the onion is lightly golden and soft.
- Add chopped sage leaves, chopped parsley, and bread crumbs. Mix well and cook for 1 minute, stirring regularly.
- Remove from heat and transfer the mixture to a small to medium baking dish greased with 0.5 tbsp melted butter.
- Spread evenly and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Remove from oven, let sit for 5 minutes, then serve.
