Ingredients
- spaghetti
- olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- 2 celery stalks
- 2 cloves garlic
- ground beef or ground turkey
- flour
- stock cube
- Worcestershire sauce
- oregano
- black pepper
- diced tomatoes
- Parmesan cheese
Method
- Chop the onion, carrots, and celery into fine dice (brunoise).
- Sauté the vegetables in olive oil with some garlic until the onions become soft and translucent.
- Add ground beef or turkey to the pan and stir until browned.
- Stir in a little flour to help bring the dish together.
- Add a stock cube, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, and black pepper.
- Add diced tomatoes to the mixture.
- Simmer the sauce on low heat for about 35 minutes, covered.
- Serve over cooked spaghetti and finish with shredded Parmesan cheese.
