- 1 cup dates (seed removed)
- ½ cup hot milk
- 2 bananas
- ¼ cup oil
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ cup milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
Method
- Soak dates in hot milk for 30 minutes.
- Brush oil and place baking paper in the mold.
- Pour soaked dates and hot milk into a blender.
- Add bananas and blend all together.
- Pour the blended mixture into a bowl.
- Add oil and mix until combined well.
- Add whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Gradually mix in milk and vanilla extract.
- Mix well to form the batter.
- Add chocolate chips and mix gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared mold.
- Preheat a pan with a wire stand on medium-low flame for 5-7 minutes.
- Place the mold into the preheated pan.
- Cook for 35-40 minutes on low-medium heat.
- Cool the cake completely.
- Cut into pieces and serve or store in a jar.
