- 1 lemon
- 1 small egg
- 75g hazelnuts
- 150g butter
- 50g sugar
- 1.5-2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 200g flour
Method
- Grate half the lemon skin into a bowl.
- Add the egg to the lemon rasp and set aside.
- Crush hazelnuts into powder.
- Add hazelnuts, butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar to the lemon zest and egg.
- Mix everything together.
- Add flour and crushed hazelnuts to the mixture.
- Mix gently until combined.
- Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- Divide dough into two blobs and roll out.
- Cut into 16 parts each.
- Shape each part into a crescent moon.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let rest for an hour.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
