Ingredients

14 ingredients
  • 13.8 oz pizza dough (see note)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 12 large eggs (1 dozen)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3-3½ cups freshly grated cheese (see note for the combination I used and recommendations)
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper, finely diced
  • ¼ cup green bell pepper, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons white onion, finely diced
  • ¼ cup fresh Roma tomatoes, seeded and finely diced
  • ¾ cup cooked ground breakfast sausage (I like to use smoked or spicy sausage)
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, finely chopped (about 1/2 pound)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Method

6 steps
  1. Use a pizza crust as the base for the breakfast pizza.
  2. Spread the crust with a layer of scrambled eggs made from 12 large eggs, 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper, cooked until fluffy.
  3. Sprinkle 3-3½ cups freshly grated cheese over the eggs.
  4. Add toppings: ¼ cup finely diced red bell pepper, ¼ cup finely diced green bell pepper, 2 tablespoons finely diced white onion, ¼ cup seeded and finely diced Roma tomatoes, ¾ cup cooked ground breakfast sausage, and ½ cup cooked bacon, all evenly distributed over the cheese.
  5. Bake the assembled pizza until the cheese is melted and the toppings are tender.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
