  • 1 lb (454 g) ground beef
  • 1 lb (454 g) ground pork
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 2 tablespoons jarred minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 oz (113 g) Italian bread, soaked in water and squeezed dry

Method

  1. Mix ground beef and pork together.
  2. Add two eggs to the meat mixture.
  3. Grate a lot of parmesan or romano cheese and add to the mixture.
  4. Add fresh garlic in a jar and chopped fresh parsley.
  5. Soak Italian bread in water until moist, then drain excess water.
  6. Combine soaked bread with the meat mixture.
  7. Mix all ingredients thoroughly, ensuring the bread remains moist and the mixture is well combined.
  8. Form the mixture into meatballs of desired size.
  9. Cook the meatballs by frying or baking until browned and cooked through.
