- 500 g cherries (frozen)
- 70 g cornstarch
- 150 g sugar
- 150 ml water

- 80 g melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 500 g Greek yogurt
- 50 g cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 egg whites
- a pinch of salt
- 130 g sugar
Method
- Mix the frozen cherries with cornstarch, sugar, and water.
- For the dough, combine egg yolks, salt, powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla, flour, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Separate a small piece of dough and place it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Prepare the baking pan (20 cm).
- For the cream, mix Greek yogurt, cornstarch, and vanilla well.
- Whip egg whites with a pinch of salt and sugar until stiff and fold into the yogurt mixture.
- Assemble the cake by grating 1/3 of the frozen dough.
- Bake the cake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 °C (350 °F) or until the top rises evenly.
