10 ingredients- 2 cups rolled oats (ground into flour)
- 1 cup hot milk
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 large carrot, finely grated
- Zest of 1 orange
- Juice of 1 orange
- 5–6 dates, chopped or blended
- 1 cup thick sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 8 oz (225 g) mascarpone
- 4 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Method
5 steps- Grind the rolled oats into flour.
- Mix the oat flour with hot milk, ripe bananas, grated carrot, orange zest, orange juice, and chopped or blended dates to form the oat base.
- Prepare the cream frosting by combining thick sour cream or Greek yogurt with mascarpone and honey or maple syrup.
- Layer the oat base and finish with the creamy honey mascarpone frosting.
- Serve the pie soft and juicy.
