  • 1 pack plain agar-agar
  • 800 ml coconut milk
  • 7 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • to taste salt
  • 2 eggs
  • to taste vanilla
  • to taste pandan paste
  • to taste green food coloring
  • 1 pack plain agar-agar (for butter pudding)
  • 800 ml liquid milk
  • 7 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • to taste salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 100 g butter

Method

  1. 1

    Mix agar-agar, sugar, a pinch of salt, vanilla, and eggs until well combined.

    Gradually add coconut milk while stirring until well mixed.

    Add pandan paste and stir well. Heat over medium, stirring occasionally.

    Once it starts to bubble, remove from heat and let cool slightly.

    Pour half of the mixture into a mold and let it set.

    For the second layer, mix agar-agar, sugar, salt, cornstarch, and milk in a pot.

    Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until hot but not boiling.

    Add butter and stir until melted and fully combined.

    Once the first layer has set, pour the second layer on top and let set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
