Ingredients
- 120 g sugar
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 200 ml milk
- 70 g butter
- 1 piece mandarin (zest & juice)
- 300 g butter cookies
- 40 g cashew nuts or other nuts
- 100 g dark chocolate (for the coating)
- 100 g milk chocolate (for the coating)
- 10 ml vegetable oil (neutral)
- 100 g white chocolate (for details)
- Green & red food coloring (fat-soluble) (for decoration)
Method
- Mix sugar and cocoa powder in a pot.
- Add milk and bring to a boil.
- Add butter to the mixture and let it melt.
- Add mandarin zest and the juice of one mandarin.
- Crush butter cookies and add to the mixture.
- Add cashew nuts and mix everything well.
- Transfer the mixture into molds and chill for a few hours.
- Melt dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and vegetable oil together.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the chilled figures.
- Add details with white chocolate and color.
- Finish and enjoy.
