  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 thick cut boneless pork chops

Method

8 steps
  1. In a large bowl, add 1/4 cup of olive oil, 1 cup of chicken broth, and two minced garlic cloves.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of paprika, garlic powder, and poultry seasoning, then finish with 1 teaspoon of dried oregano and 1 teaspoon of dried basil.
  3. Whisk together and pour into the slow cooker.
  4. Using the tip of a knife, cut small slits in the tops of the pork chops so the spices can infuse during cooking.
  5. Season each pork chop with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  6. Place the pork chops into the slow cooker.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
  8. Periodically baste the pork chops with the flavorful cooking liquid during cooking.
