Ingredients

  • 1 cup (120g) self rising flour
  • 1 cup (220g) non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop (30g) unflavored whey protein powder
  • 1 large egg or egg substitute
  • everything seasoning to taste

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Add self rising flour, Greek yogurt, and protein powder to a large bowl.
  3. Mix until crumbly without over mixing.
  4. Form dough into a ball without overworking.
  5. Divide dough into 4 equal pieces.
  6. Flour work surface and roll each piece into a 6 inch line.
  7. Bend and connect each line into a circle to form bagels.
  8. Place bagels on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  9. Brush each bagel with egg wash.
  10. Sprinkle with seasoning as desired.
  11. Bake for about 20 minutes.
  12. Cool bagels completely on the baking sheet.
  13. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for a few days.
