  • 500 g ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 60 g parmesan cheese
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • bell pepper to taste, finely chopped
  • parsley to taste
  • tomato paste to taste
  • mustard to taste
  • greens for garnish

Method

6 steps
  1. Divide ground beef into 2 portions and shape flat patties with hollow centers.
  2. Wrap meat around a can or glass to form nests and remove the mold.
  3. Crack an egg into each nest and season with salt, pepper, parmesan, and vegetables.
  4. Spread tomato paste and mustard on top and add cheddar slices.
  5. Cook in air fryer at 180°C (350°F) for 10 to 13 minutes.
  6. Garnish with greens and serve.

Recipe notes

Helpful tips

  • Shape the meat firmly around the mould so the nests hold their form.
  • Remove the mould carefully before adding the eggs.
  • Check that the minced beef is fully cooked before serving.

Storage

Refrigerate cooled leftovers promptly in an airtight container. Reheat until both the beef and egg are piping hot.
