Ingredients
- 400 gm Boneless Chicken
- 2 TBS Chopped Garlic
- Salt to Taste
- 1/2 TS Red chilli Powder
- 1/2 TS Chilli Flakes
- 1/2 TS Black Pepper
- 1 TS Roasted Crushed Cumin
- 1 TS Roasted Crushed Coriander
- 1 TS Paprika
- 1/2 TS Oregano
- Pinch of Food Colour
- 2 TBS Lemon Juice
- 1 TBS Yougurt
- 700 gm Potato
- 1 TS Chicken Powder
- 1 TS Black Pepper
- 1 TS Chilli Flakes
- 1 TS Garlic Powder (Optional)
- Handful Spring Onion
- Handful Red & Green Capsicum
- 1 Egg
- 1 Cup All Purpose Flour or as required

- Mixing bowls
- Large frying pan with lid
- Waffle maker
- Grater or potato masher
- Spatula

Method
- Mix the ingredients for the chicken filling and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Put oil in a pan and cook the marinated chicken for 15 to 20 minutes or until water dries completely.
- Add red and green capsicum and a handful of spring onion to the chicken, then mix and give coal smoke.
- Open the lid, add 2 to 3 TBS cream, mix, and spread mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low flame until the cheese melts.
- Mix all potato waffle ingredients and keep aside.
- Preheat the waffle maker and grease with oil.
- Place the potato mixture in the waffle maker and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Serve the potato waffles topped with the chicken filling.
Helpful tips
- Allow the chicken to marinate for the full 30 minutes.
- Cook the chicken until its released moisture has evaporated.
- Grease and fully preheat the waffle maker before adding the potato mixture.
Storage
Store the chicken filling and potato waffles separately in covered containers in the refrigerator. Reheat both until piping hot.
