Ingredients
- 2 pieces eggs
- 5 pieces potatoes
- 1 piece carrot
- 1 bunch parsley
- 50 grams butter
- 1 piece onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 5 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup flour (for coating)
- as needed ml vegetable oil (for frying)
- as needed grams breadcrumbs (for coating)
- 150 grams sour cream (for sauce)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (for sauce)
- 2 pieces pickles (for sauce)
- as needed grams dill (for sauce)
- as needed teaspoon salt (to taste)
- as needed teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
Method
- Boil potatoes in water until soft.
- Let the boiled potatoes cool down and then mash them.
- Chop onion, carrot, and garlic finely and sauté them in a pan with butter.
- Mix the sautéed ingredients with the mashed potatoes and eggs.
- Season with salt, pepper, and cornstarch and mix well.
- Form the mixture into small portions, roll in flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally in breadcrumbs.
- Fry in a pan with vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides.
- For the sauce: mix sour cream, mayonnaise, pressed garlic, dill, pickles, and spices.
- Serve the potato-egg snacks with the sauce.
