Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 piece egg
  • 80 g rice
  • 1 piece onion
  • 2 pieces carrot
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 100 g bacon
  • 1 piece spring onion
  • 1 piece tomato
  • 200 g cabbage (additional)
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 3 tablespoons yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Method

  1. Cut the cabbage head and 200 g cabbage and boil in a pot of water.
  2. Mix the minced meat with the egg, rice, onion, carrot, garlic, and spices.
  3. Fry bacon in a pan and combine with the minced meat mixture.
  4. Add the tomato, spring onion, and parsley and mix everything well.
  5. Wrap the mixture in the cooked cabbage leaves and place in a baking dish.
  6. Pour tomato sauce and yogurt over the cabbage wraps and bake in the oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
  7. Dust with flour and season with pepper and salt before serving.
