Ingredients
- 400-500g ground meat
- 1 onion
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/2 bunch parsley or coriander
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp paprika
- 4 tbsp oil
- Salt, pepper, cumin
- Grated cheese
- Butter for brushing edges
- 400g flour
- 1 tbsp dry yeast or 20g fresh yeast
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 250-280ml water
Method
- Mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt, olive oil, and water to form dough.
- Let dough rise until doubled in size.
- Prepare filling by sautéing onion, garlic, bell pepper, and ground meat with tomato paste, paprika, salt, pepper, and cumin.
- Add chopped parsley or coriander to filling.
- Divide dough and roll into elongated shapes.
- Place filling on dough and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Fold edges and brush with butter.
- Bake until golden and cheese is gratinéed.
