Ingredients
- bean sprouts
- vegetable oil
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- soy sauce to taste
- toasted sesame oil a small dash
- chives sliced for garnish
Method
- Heat pan on high heat.
- Add vegetable oil when pan is hot.
- Add bean sprouts when oil shimmers.
- Season with salt and pepper and stir evenly.
- Cook until sprouts become slightly translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Lower heat to medium-high and add soy sauce.
- Mix vigorously to avoid burning soy sauce.
- Turn off stove once coated.
- Add chives and a small dash of toasted sesame oil.
