High Protein Fried Rice

High Protein Fried Rice — Wash the rice under cold water.
Ingredients
- 50g jasmine rice
- 180g chicken breast
- 1 onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 carrot
- 50g frozen peas
- 1 egg
- 20g soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- oil for frying
- msg to taste
- salt to taste
Method

Wash the rice under cold water.

Cook the rice in a pot or rice cooker.

Let the cooked rice sit covered for 1 minute to evaporate water.

Dice the vegetables and cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.

Fry chicken breast on high heat for 30 seconds on each side without overcooking.

Remove chicken from pan.

Add oil to pan and fry vegetables on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until soft.

Add garlic and ginger paste and fry for 20 seconds.

Add cooked rice to pan and stir fry for 1 minute.

Make space in pan, add oil, crack in egg and scramble it.

Combine scrambled egg with rice and vegetables.

Add frozen peas and fry for 30 seconds until thawed.

Add a pinch of MSG, soy sauce, and chicken back to the pan.
