Ingredients
- 1 egg
- noodles
- hunk of butter
- milk (no more than half a cup)
- ramen sauce pack
- melty cheese
- chili oil
- scallions
- ginger
- oil
- chili crisp
- crispy shallots
- garlic powder
Method
- Boil egg for 6 minutes and place in ice bath.
- Peel the egg.
- Boil noodles for 1-2 minutes then drain.
- For Cheesy Butter Ramen: melt butter in pan on medium.
- Add milk and sauce pack to butter.
- Add noodles and cook until thickened.
- Put noodles in bowl, add cheese and fold to melt.
- Add chili oil, scallions, and egg on top.
- For Ginger Scallion Ramen: chop ginger and scallions.
- Sauté ginger and scallions in oil.
- Add about 1/3 of flavor pack to pan.
- Cook noodles for a couple minutes, drain, then add to pan to soak sauce.
- Transfer noodles to bowl, add chili crisp and crispy shallots.
- For Eggy Garlic Powder Ramen: cook noodles and drain most water.
- Crack egg into noodles and stir.
- Add flavor pack and garlic powder, stir well.
- Top with scallions and serve.
