13 ingredients- 2 pieces apples (peeled, cored, cut into pieces)
- 30 g dried cranberries
- 4 tbsp water
- to taste sweetener
- ⅔ tsp cinnamon
- 1.5 tbsp cornstarch
- 150 g oats (ground in a coffee grinder)
- 40 g walnuts (chopped)
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 piece orange (zest)
- pinch salt
- 1 piece egg
- 4 tbsp water (for the base)
Method
9 steps- Preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F).
- In a bowl, mix the apple filling ingredients: apples, dried cranberries, water, sweetener, cinnamon, and cornstarch.
- In another bowl, combine the crumble ingredients: oats, walnuts, coconut oil, orange zest, salt, and sweetener.
- To prepare the base, combine the egg, salt, and water.
- Place parchment paper in a 16 cm (6.3 in) round pan.
- Layer the apple filling in the pan, then top with the oat-nut crumble.
- Pour the base mixture over the crumble.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes.
- Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with tea or plant-based yogurt.

- Cut the apples into evenly sized pieces so they cook at the same rate.
- Spread the crumble mixture evenly over the fruit.
