Quick Milk Dessert with Orange and Banana

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Oranges
  • 300 ml Juice
  • 3 pieces Bananas
  • 400 ml Milk
  • 150 g Cornstarch
  • 100 g Condensed Milk
  • 30 g Butter
  • 100 g Sugar (for caramel)
  • 100 ml Water (for caramel)
  • optional Food coloring
  • optional Coconut flakes

Method

  1. Mix the oranges, banana, milk and condensed milk in a bowl.
  2. Add the cornstarch and mix well until the starch is completely dissolved.
  3. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
  4. Add food coloring if desired.
  5. Add the butter and stir until melted.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool.
  7. Store in the refrigerator for 3–4 hours.
  8. For the caramel sauce: caramelize banana, sugar and water in a pot.
  9. Serve the dessert with caramel and coconut flakes.
