Ingredients
- 500-550 g wheat flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 20 g fresh yeast ((about 3/4 ounce))
- 250 ml warm milk ((about 1 cup))
- 1 piece egg
- 1 piece egg yolk
- 100 ml vegetable oil ((about 7 tablespoons))
- 5-6 g salt ((about 1/2 teaspoon))
- 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
- 1 piece lemon (zest)
- chocolate paste (for the filling)
Method
- Mix all ingredients for the dough well.
- Knead the dough and let it rest for 60 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 12 pieces and form balls.
- Roll out the dough pieces and spread chocolate paste on top.
- Roll up the dough and place in baking tins.
- Brush with the egg-milk mixture.
- Bake at 180 °C (356 °F) for 35–40 minutes.
