Chocolate Lava Cakes in the Air Fryer

Rich and chocolatey lava cakes made easily in the air fryer with a smooth chocolate center.
Ingredients

- cocoa powder
- chocolate

- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- flour
- salt
Method

Brush your ramekins with melted butter.

Dust the ramekins with cocoa powder and tap out the excess.

Microwave chocolate and butter on medium heat, stirring gently until smooth, then set aside to cool.

In another bowl, add one egg, one egg yolk, and icing sugar, then whisk until light and fluffy.

Stir in the cooled chocolate and butter mixture until combined.

Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold these in.

Divide the mixture between two prepared ramekins.

Place the ramekins in the air fryer and cook for about 13 minutes until the tops spring back when lightly pressed.

Leave the cakes to cool for about 10 minutes.

Optionally, flip the cakes out of the ramekins if coated well, or serve directly in the ramekins.
