  • 1.5 lbs brussels sprout
  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 Tbs balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbs honey

Method

12 steps
  1. Wash the brussels sprouts thoroughly and dry completely with a towel.
  2. Trim a small part from the bottom of each brussels sprout and cut in half.
  3. Transfer the cut brussels sprouts to a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add 2 Tbs olive oil, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper to the bowl.
  5. Mix well with hands to evenly coat all sprouts.
  6. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  7. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  8. Arrange the brussels sprouts in a single layer on the baking sheet, cut side down.
  9. Roast in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and crispy around the edges.
  10. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine 2 Tbs balsamic vinegar and 1 Tbs honey, mixing well.
  11. Remove the roasted brussels sprouts from the oven and transfer to a serving bowl.
  12. Pour the honey balsamic mixture over the roasted sprouts and toss to coat evenly.
